Maka has a pretty nifty ability called Soul Perception. There's a description on the wiki, here.
Maka also has an "anti-magic" wavelength. This ability lets her destroy magic and purge evil. In LifeAftr her abilities are nerfed to a 50/50 chance at removing possession, and severe injury (not total destruction) of anyone possessing another person.
If there are any questions, ask me and we'll figure out how to mash canons together until they make sense.
Here's a handy-dandy form letter:

2. What are they like? Ed is stubborn, caring, impatient, and carries a lot of guilt. Because of being turned into a minotaur he is also fairly aggressive and due to various traumas not entirely trusting of people.
3. What does their soul feel like? A strange combination of volatile and a weary kind of steadiness. Much of his more aggressive nature is artificially inflicted, but Ed is still naturally combative. Also his soul looks like his dumb little transmuted face things with his dumb horns added on, fight me.
4. Does your character eat innocent souls? n o p e
5. Does your character use magic? Nope!
6. Is your character "evil"? Ed is like the most hardcore chaotic good to exist, he will Punch A Cop but also save their life. shonen protag lyfe
7. May Maka destroy/negate your character's magic? If she were to negate anything it would be Ed's like. land-sense??? like congrats he can now get lost I guess.
no subject
actually no that sounds outside of her range, she's more an anti-curse/anti-possession type.
I'm excited about this cr lbr we've got two shonen bookworms here
look at this official art

2. What are they like? Chip is wary and mistrustful of pretty much everyone, staying very closed off and using their temper as a buffer to keep people from getting too close. Beyond that, though, they have a deeply compassionate personality. They are very impulsive as well, which only compounds everything into a giant mess.
3. What does their soul feel like? Hey Maka, did you want to see in five dimensions? No? WELL TOO BAD, DEMONS DO WHAT THEY WANT. Chip is only part demon so they don't have as much eldritch twistiness going on, but there is unmistakably something Off about it. There's potential of decent power in their soul, but it's mostly untapped and they have a lot of growing to do before it amounts to much.
4. Does your character eat innocent souls? They Would Rather Not
5. Does your character use magic? While their magic doesn't use their soul, it is, uh...intrinsically connected to it? Or their natural magic is, at least--ritual magic is all done with energies outside of the individual. But of course all their natural magic is black, so it's shit like curses and causing pain and illness and death and all that fun stuff.
6. Is your character "evil"? Well, Chip themself is more chaotic neutral than anything else, but they are also A Kid...but on the other hand they are literally part demon so that might skew Maka's perception slightly????
7. May Maka destroy/negate your character's magic? Feel free! Though if she uses her wavelength it might cause Chip spiritual/mental pain as well depending on how it works? We might have to hash that one out.

Maka's world has eldrich horror "gods", and she goes to a school where one of those gods is the headmaster and hangs out on the regular with that god's son, so the demon aspect won't bother her too much. The black magic is going to be more what she's going to be concerned about, but she isn't going to cancel anything unless Chip actively curses her. But for sure we'll hash stuff out on an as-needed basis!

2. What are they like? She's a nice lady with low self-esteem and a lot of baggage. She's doing her best to make up for past misdeeds.
3. What does their soul feel like? A shadow is something you can see, but not feel. I'm gonna apply that here, too. Even though... Vivian can touch people and be touched in turn...
4. Does your character eat innocent souls? Nope!
5. Does your character use magic? Yes, but her magic relies on FP (Flower Points) rather than souls or life force.
6. Is your character "evil"? Formerly up to no good, but exactly what she did is unspecified, and it's likely that Vivian doesn't even remember the details. She's a good egg now!
7. May Maka destroy/negate your character's magic? We'll have to discuss it as things go.

2. What are they like? First of all she's a Lalafell, and also Maka will probably be able to tell that she isn't actually a child, no matter how much she looks like one. Beyond that she's hardworking and dedicated, not the most courageous of people but works well in a support position. She fusses a lot over heroic types who don't take proper care of themselves. Also she's very good-natured, optimistic, and chatty. She can be a bit of a gossipmonger, even. Also she has a bit of a stealth cunning/manipulative side.
3. What does their soul feel like? Probably a bit excitable and energetic on the surface, but also very optimistic, caring, and supportive. Also if pink is an okay color it's absolutely pink.
4. Does your character eat innocent souls? She would be horrified to find out that's a thing people can do in Maka's world.
5. Does your character use magic? Can she? Yes. Will she? Not a lot, the only type of magic she knows requires a channeling medium of sorts that she doesn't possess at the moment. Unless you count the crystals she uses for crafting since FFXIV crystals are basically solidified aether. Think like... fire crystals used to heat up metal for shaping, etc. None of the above uses soul energy, though.
6. Is your character "evil"? nah
7. May Maka destroy/negate your character's magic? Sure! ... if you interrupt her crafting tho she's gonna be annoyed.

1. Do they have a soul? yepppp though it might seem somewhat... Odd, considering that Lorelei (fonon magic psuedogod) calls Asch/Luke "fragment of my soul" which you are free to interpret HOWEVER TF YOU LIKE
2. What are they like? Reserved suspicious fighty teen, lots of trauma, bad at people. Ex-royalty and also ex-chosen one, see above re: psuedogod bullshit.
3. What does their soul feel like? OKAY SO THIS IS HILARIOUS BECAUSE... The Seventh Fonon, which Lorelei is associated with, is almost completely opposite to Asch's personality. It's healing and sound and memory magic and I tend to headcanon it as kind of a warm humming feeling so like... enjoy that contradiction, Maka.
Also, if we ever get a Luke, there will probably be some evidence of the link between them eg hair trailing off into the distance ala gunnerkrigg court or something. The Seventh Fonon tends to be a reddish gold color and red is Asch's own primary color so there's probably colorfade bullshit sorry.
4. Does your character eat innocent souls? lol no he'd be confused at the very idea
5. Does your character use magic? yes of a fairly standard JRPG flavor, but again chosen one bullshit might be in evidence.
6. Is your character "evil"? in DND terms he's neutral good leaning chaotic, but he's done a LOT of bad shit and tends to have a very "ends justify means" outlook. Up to you where that falls.
7. May Maka destroy/negate your character's magic? Temporary only please! That said he's a skilled swordsman anyway so it wouldn't exactly make him Not a Threat

And Soul Eater is............ weird wrt chaos=evil lawful=good but at this point in crau development Maka's getting a little more used to chaotic good.

2. What are they like? Isabella is standard human. Curious, somewhat compassionate, and rather like a steamroller when she wants something -- going straight ahead through whatever she sees as the most obvious path. She can be clever about it, but favors the direct approach.
3. What does their soul feel like? Isabella once described herself as some kind of flying creature, trying to break free so it could take flight. She's also strongly in love with figuring things out.
4. Does your character eat innocent souls? Nope
5. Does your character use magic? Nope. Magic doesn't exist in her canon.
6. Is your character "evil"? Isabella is good, but probably neutral on the law-chaos axis. She's willing to break down social conventions and laws in the name of 'nope, I need to get this done', but will balance that with 'I can't be a total asshole to these people'. She once nearly got arrested for treason.
7. May Maka destroy/negate your character's magic? N/a

2. What are they like? A horrible child who murdered three other children, became responsible for countless suicides and recently well over a hundred teenage deaths. She's a fearsome, monstrous person with a penchant for evil and gore and the worst stuff imagineable.
3. What does their soul feel like? It'll feel like a normal soul. It'll fit her facade. Sachiko has an all-around 'no' on people reading her personality until she reveals it in full. As a highly powerful spirit who comes from a long line of mediums, let's say Sachiko can change how her spirit appears. Once she drops the act, her spirit might be in Maka's top-ten list of 'oh my god no'
4. Does your character eat innocent souls? No
5. Does your character use magic? Yes
6. Is your character "evil"? Pure chaotic evil.
7. May Maka destroy/negate your character's magic? No, please!

In her canon, Maka's anti-magic/anti-evil abilities are powerful enough to take out the big bad(s), so it seems like that would be something we could compromise on.
no subject
... like... stabbing her ¯\_(ツ)_/¯or hovering and floating some sharp objects her way? IF it ever happened. These two will totally be enemies in the future, no joke, once Maka can see her soul. Compared to other souls in Soul Eater (just as a canon familiar) her soul is pure malice, covered in Darkening (the agent in corpse party that taints what once was good)
But... underneath that is a very sad and scared girl who misses her mother. She didn't fall from grace intentionally, her mother pressured her to bring 'more friends' to their afterlife... and then she went loco.

Yeah, stabbing and floating things toward is fine for sure! I figured we could play around with Maka occasionally being able to cancel out the mind meddling and other sort of influence in threads, instead of a 100% "Sachiko can't influence" or "Maka always cancels out Sachiko". Anime!Maka doesn't have the same kind of immunity to insanity that manga!Maka does, which is why I mentioned in your permissions post that I'm super up for hallucinations and things.
I am always down for negative CR and fights and enemies, so I'm super excited about getting CR with Sachiko!

2. What are they like? The Batter is cold and rarely smiles. He tends to cut to the chase in conversations often and Maka probably won't even need her Soul Perception to see that it's actually very unusual for the Batter to do things like laugh or cry and he's an unemotional man most of the time. The Batter is also not human, although canon doesn't go into much detail about what exactly he is. Long story short: he was created by a child and looks like "this" to people who have negative CR with him, but feel free to have fun with this form if you think Maka can see/sense it.
3. What does their soul feel like? Cold to start with but if Maka digs deep enough she'll find...nothing. While he does have some basic emotions they'll all on lockdown and there's not much else there. Strangely enough his soul may feel a lot younger then it appears, but that's the byproduct of being created by a small child.
4. Does your character eat innocent souls? Nope.
5. Does your character use magic? Kind of. The Batter has accesses to abilities known as Competences that allow him to use attack skills, elemental attacks, healing (your basic RPG set). They consume CP or Competences Points to use but I don't think that counts as energy.
6. Is your character "evil"? Speaking of complicated. The Batter is probably the most morality ambiguous of all the characters in OFF. Like many things in this game, I'd say it'd depend on how Maka looks at it? The Batter purified a world but he did it by destroying it and killed his own creator, which happened to be a defenseless child. Not good by any means but it wasn't something done out of pure malice either.
7. May Maka destroy/negate your character's magic? I'd say she can destroy his healing skills temporarily if it comes up but I don't know about the rest of his skills. They're on his application page if you want to check it out and we can hash out what can happen if it comes to that!
no subject
And I'm always up for playing around with negating healing powers!

2. What are they like? At first glance she looks like a normal girl with green hair. She's soft spoken and extremely reserved, wary around new people, but she has a good heart. She also isn't completely human - she's half esper (half creature of magic) and while they don't really go into it, I headcanon she at least would be long-lived, but not necessarily immortal.
3. What does their soul feel like? There's a kind of duality to her soul, torn between her human side and her esper side (when she becomes aware of it anyway). There is, like most who've yet to grow into or even discover their powers, a lot of potential and strong magic in her though.
4. Does your character eat innocent souls? And puppies for dessert. ... no, no she doesn't really. ._. She doesn't eat souls at all.
5. Does your character use magic? More importantly, do they use magic that utilizes their soul/"life energy"? She does use magic, but it relies on mana which, depending on your interpretation, can be considered like life energy. Since she has an exhaustion caveat here, it probably is close to her own life energy than someone else's.
6. Is your character "evil"? She is definitely good! But she was forced to be bad before her arrival on the islands so.
7. May Maka destroy/negate your character's magic? Obviously we'll hash things out more in threads if it comes up!
If you mean permanently, ..no D: That.. would literally kill her If her magic were gone. (According to devs trivia) Temporarily, maybe - though it'd probably make Terra sick. On the other hand if you mean her aim Missing or spells fizzling out for a moment, that's probably fine! :D

2. What are they like? Lup's a high elf, she's a very powerful wizard (in her own reality, she's been hella nerfed here) and technically undead by way of being a lich, though she's in her regular alive body atm. Her soul would be... fiery. She's passionate, optimistic, warm and kind, impulsive, chaotic but controlled, cares fiercely, delights in destruction if it isn't harmful. She's also died a couple times, both before and after she learned how to turn lich.
3. What does their soul feel like? Hot?? Wild, but tethered to her twin brother Taako who is also on the island, like she would be unbalanced without him. She's been through a century and more of very harrowing experiences, but she's strongly bonded to Taako and others who aren't in this world, and that gives her the strength to hold on to who she is and her optimism. These bonds are especially vital for retaining her sanity whenever she does turn lich by being killed.
4. Does your character eat innocent souls? YOU COME INTO MY HOME AND ACCUSE LUP OF VORE (that's a no)
5. Does your character use magic? Hella magic! DnD magic is more a matrix or plane of magic that casters tap into and wield, but it does use up spell slots and as such their physical/mental energy.
6. Is your character "evil"? Chaotic good works well for Lup, she delights in unpredictability and makes sure to look out for herself most of the time, but she strongly cares about others and has a good sense of moral right and wrong, and will absolutely stand up for it.
7. May Maka destroy/negate your character's magic? Tentative yes if we discuss it first!
no subject
1. Do they have a soul? Yes, definitely! In fact, she actually carries a fragment of it around with her as a physical object, which could make for an interesting soul perception deet.
2. What are they like? Mentally sharp introvert who doesn't like making waves. Kindness and self-doubt in spades.
3. What does their soul feel like? F... Fluffy??? I don't really know, she's a small soft femme who wears overdesigned magical girl outfits sometimes
4. Does your character eat innocent souls? No!!!
5. Does your character use magic? Yuka's a magical girl! Her powers are based directly on her soul, and are all healing magic and physical stat enhancement magic.
6. Is your character "evil"? She actually did spend some time in the recent past as an agent of bad mojo forces, but she's since switched sides back to good. It's not impossible that some residue would still be lingering from that.
7. May Maka destroy/negate your character's magic? With advance plotting, sure!
